The AM26LS31CN-E series device is a four complementary output line driver designed to meet the requirements of ANSI TIA/EIA-422-B and ITU (formerly CCITT) Recommendation V.11. The 3-state output has the high current capability to drive balanced lines (such as twisted pair or parallel transmission lines) and is in a high impedance state in a power off state. The enable function is common to all four drivers and provides a choice of high-level effective or low-level effective enable (G, G) inputs. Low power Schottky circuits reduce power consumption without sacrificing speed.
